Our Vision

We believe that our children should have the aspiration and opportunity to ‘Live life in all its fullness’ and ‘Shine like stars in the sky’.

New this week…

KS1 Trip to the National Railway Museum, York

A reminder that Year One and Two children are going to the National Railway Museum on Wednesday 9th October to support their History learning. Children should wear full school uniform and coat. Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and water bottle in a small backpack. Please do not send your child with any money. Thank you for your support.

Wednesday 9th October.

A team of 7 KS2 children are attending and taking part in a Netball Competition at Outwood Academy.  They will be travelling on a bus with Kirkby Malzeard children after registration on Wednesday 9th October and will be back for lunchtime.  We wish them the best of luck and hope they have a brilliant time.

Coming Together in Yellow – Thursday 10th October 2024

Every year, thousands of schools, companies and communities come together to make World Mental Health Day that little bit brighter by wearing something yellow and donating to Young Minds.  Right now, the world is a really tough place for children and young people to grow up in. Young Minds want young people to know that they don’t have to go through this alone. Things can get better.

Our wonderful Y6 Wellbeing Ambassadors, have been busy organising a special school event to mark the occasion and have explained it to the children during Collective Worship.  This World Mental Health Day, they invite us to wear something yellow with thousands of others across the UK and raise money to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health.  There is no expectation that children come to school dressed in yellow from head to toe!  Even something as simple as a yellow hair bobble/ribbon or a pair of yellow socks would be a great way to show support.
Because we stand brighter, together.

If you feel able to donate to this very worthy cause, you can do so here:

Rocket Class Parents

We were delighted that so many parents could join us for lunch on Tuesday! The children loved sharing their lunchtime routine with you all and hope that you will come and join us again soon.
A big thank you to Sharon for cooking up a storm!
