Weekly Update 13.10.23

13 Oct 2023

Weekly update Friday 13th October

  -Weekly Update 13.10.23 UKRAINE.pdf-

Our Vision
We believe that our children should have the aspiration and opportunity to ‘Live life in all its fullness and ‘Shine like stars in the sky’.

Change to class structure
Having reviewed the structure of our classes because of our reading and maths initiatives which have been further refined this term, we have decided to make a slight tweak to the class structure moving forward.
From Monday November 6th, after the half term holiday, Year Four will now be part of Asteroid class in a morning as well as for the afternoon session.
The class structure will be as follows.

Rocket Class
Nursery, Reception Year One

Comet Class
Year Two and Year Three

Asteroid Class
Year Four, Year Five and Year Six

We are pleased that we can still run a three-class structure which ensures class sizes remain small compared to other schools.

Should you have any questions about this, please contact Mrs Taylor via the school email address.

Whitby Trip Y R, 1, 2

Children need school uniform but comfortable walking shoes such as trainers, a backpack containing a packed  lunch and a water bottle.
Nursery remains open as normal.

Football Competition
On Monday 16th October, 7 children from years 3 and 4 are going to Bishop Monkton for a football competition.  We wish them the best of luck and know that they will perform to the best of their abilities and be greats sportsmen.
