Weekly Update Friday 9th February 2024

New this week…

Clubs
Clubs will remain the same after half term.

Important message from sports crew
On Thursday 22nd February Sports Crew will be doing a ‘feel good Thursday’ lunchtime, where they will be doing a healthy tuck shop. They will be selling fruit, vegetable sticks and snack bars at a cost of 10-50p a portion. Please send your child in with change if you wish. They will also be running some clubs, they will let everyone know what they are and when they will be starting, as soon as possible.

Nursery Parents
Please note that Forest School sessions on a Wednesday afternoon start again from Wednesday 21st February.  Please send your child with a set of warm clothes, waterproofs and wellies.  We are very excited to get down into the forest again!

Coming Up...
Sharing with you our Pancake Portraits Activity morning at Ripon Cathedral on Tuesday 13th Feb 10:30-12pm during Half-Term.
We hope lots of families will be able to join us.

Online Gaming - Roblox
Online gaming can be great fun for our children and we teach widely in school about how to be safe when playing online. A game we know many of our children (across the school) enjoy is Roblox. This site can be suitable for wide age-range but needs to be managed carefully with support from adults at home. Please see the following website for  specific information and advice to support you at home: www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/online-safety/online-safety-blog/roblox/
