Our Vision

We believe that our children should have the aspiration and opportunity to ‘Live life in all its fullness’ and ‘Shine like stars in the sky’.
New this week…

Forest School
Asteroids (Y3, 4, 5, 6) will be at Forest School on Friday 12th June in the morning for our golden thread. Please ensure all children have suitable clothing and waterproofs. Even though the weather is warm, children are still required to have their arms and legs covered.

Taster day
Children will have the opportunity to visit their new classes and experience a taster session in these on Thursday 11th July.

HOMEWORK! Clever Never Goes
You may remember that PCSO Heather came into school earlier in the year to talk to the children about Clever Never Goes.  She has invited the children to design a poster to tell other children about this important message.  We set this as a homework task to help the children to consolidate their learning and to give them the opportunity to share what they have learned with you at home.  We would like to surprise PCSO Heather when she returns towards the end of term with some super posters - there may even be prizes for the best ones!  Many thanks to all those children who have already returned their poster.  PCSO Heather will be returning on Wednesday 17th July so please could the remaining posters be submitted by then.

School reports
Reports will be sent home on Monday 8th July due to the KS2 production taking place on Friday

Congratulations to Daisy in Year 6 who was placed 1st in a design competition! Asteroids were asked to created a label for a recycling bin and Miss Marlow was thrilled to receive a call to say that we had won out of 100s of entries. Daisy has won for the school a recycling bin with her label on it and vouchers…she even gets a rather splendid and well deserved prize herself. Congratulations Daisy!

Forest School
Rocket Class (N,R,1,Y2) will be at Forest School on Friday 5th June in the morning for our golden thread. Please ensure all children have suitable clothing and waterproofs. Even though the weather is warm, children are still required to have their arms and legs covered.
