Welcome back letter

12 Sep 2025

Happy Friday all,

Welcome back to the start of the new academic year. The children have settled back into school well coming in eager to learn and excited for the year ahead and it has been a lovely start to the year.

Our new children are very busy making new friends and enjoying all the different learning both in and outside the classroom.
It has been lovely to welcome many new families to our school community both in Reception and throughout the school.
The excitement has reached fever pitch in school for our residential next week. Please see the end of the article for some last-minute reminders.

We would like to invite parents into school on Monday 22nd September to visit your child's class. This will be an opportunity for the Key Stage 2 children to share photos and memories from their trip to Bewerley. Parents with children in Nursery, Reception, Year One and Year Two are also invited to visit their children’s new classes to have a look around and see their exciting learning in action.

The Friends will also be holding a coffee and cake meet and greet for all parents, especially those new to school, as a welcome and an opportunity to meet other parents from your child’s class/es. This will start at 2.30pm in the hall on the same day.

At the start of the year, I would like to share the communication policies as a reminder to parents as to where all the information you need about school can be found. This is attached for your reference. I have also attached the behaviour policy for reference.

Just to confirm, the dates for the above, and for the academic year are now on the school website and class pages have all been updated.

Wishing you a happy weekend.

Mrs Taylor
