WELLBEING DAY AT STUDFOLD
We are looking forward to our visit to Studfold Adventure Trail on Monday 30
th June. Many thanks to all those who have already confirmed their consent. There are just a few children for whom we have not yet received consent – this can be done by clicking the ‘confirm’ button within the email sent on 16/06/25. If you would like to order a school packed lunch for that day, please let us know as soon as possible. Many thanks
FOREST SCHOOL
Just a reminder that children in Nursery to
Year Three need a long sleeve top and full-length trousers for forest school on Wednesday afternoon. Please could you also ensure that you send your child with waterproofs? Whilst we have some spare waterproofs in school, each week more and more children are relying on school spares and we don't have enough for everybody. Thank you for your support with this.
There are additional Forest School sessions coming up as follows:
Friday 27th June for Y3-Y6
Friday 11th July for N-Y2
On these occasions, children should come to school dressed in their Forest School kit and will then change into PE kits for the afternoon sessions.
MOANA COSTUMES
Just a reminder that Moana costumes need to be in school (in a named plastic bag) by Friday 27th June for dress rehearsal the following week. Stage crew are to wear black.
MUSIC TUITION
It has been wonderful to see the progress that the KS2 children have made in their brass lessons with Mr Bryant over the course of the year. We hope to be able to showcase this in a performance for parents before we break up for the summer. In case any of the children are now inspired to take up an instrument, small group or individual tuition is available via the North Yorkshire Music Service. YOUTUBE KIDS
YouTube kids is designed to be the safer cousin of the regular YouTube app; however, built-in risks continue to pose concerns. From targeted advertising to addictive design, there’s more going on behind the scenes than many realise.
Whether it is inappropriate content slipping past filters or tech-savvy kids bypassing parental settings, YouTube Kids still needs careful oversight. See below for a quick guide providing clear, easy-to-follow tips to help adults keep young users protected while still enjoying their favourite videos.
Please do come and ask a member of staff at any time if you need any help supporting your child/children at home using online platforms.
