Sickness and diarrhoea
We hope this message finds you well and enjoying the school year so far! As we enter a season where sickness and bugs seem to be making their rounds, we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of our policy regarding illness, which follows NHS guidelines.
If your child is experiencing any illness, especially symptoms like vomiting, diarrhoea or other contagious conditions, we kindly ask that you keep them at home for a full 48 hours after their symptoms subside. This helps ensure the well-being of all our students and staff, allowing everyone to thrive in a healthy learning environment.

If your child is sick, please notify the school if your child is unable to attend due to sickness. We understand that this can be challenging, and we are here to support you and your family during this time.

Last Call for JAM Messy Church
Many thanks to all those who have already booked a place for their child(ren) at Tuesday's JAM session.  Please can any remaining responses be returned to Miss Mandelson by the close of Friday 6^th at the latest so that we have numbers for catering purposes.  Many thanks
 
Nativity
Rocket Class Nativity and Asteroid Class choir will take place in school on Thursday 12^th December with performances at 10am and 2pm.
 
This will be a ticketed event. Each family in school can request up to 2 tickets per performance. Separate emails were sent earlier in the week. Please ensure you respond to these with the number of tickets you require. These will then be sent home with your child on Monday.

As Christmas approaches, and we are all becoming busier, please see below a list of dates and information which may be helpful in the coming weeks.

Tuesday 10^th December
Jam Messy Church at 3.30pm
Places must be booked by Friday 6^th December.
 
Thursday 12^th December
The Nativity for Rocket Class (Nursery, Reception, Year One and Year Two) with Asteroid choir, at 10am and 2pm IN SCHOOL
Ticket information has been sent separately – all requests to school for Friday 6^th December at 3.30pm. Tickets will be sent home on Monday 9^th December.
 
Monday 16^th December
Friends Disco. 3.30pm – 5pm
Children should bring a change of clothes in a bag and will be allowed time to change at the end of the school day in preparation for the disco. Money can also be brought for the tuck shop. Please send this in named envelope and we will ensure this is kept safely for the disco.
Nursery parents should attend with their children please.

 

 
 
Tuesday 17^th December
Christmas Lunch and Christmas Jumper Day
Come to school in Christmas jumper and non-uniform for the day.
 
Inter house sports competition - football
Children should bring their PE kit in school for this day also.
 
Thursday 19^th December
Carols around the tree at Church at 2.30pm
Join us for carol singing with the children and refreshments provided by the friends.
Doors open at 2pm, where friends will be serving refreshments prior to the carol service at 2.30pm
 
Please can all children in Nursery, Reception, Year One and Year Two ensure they have their nativity costumes in on this day. They will be wearing these for Carols around the tree.
 
Children can be taken home directly from the church once they have been signed out by their parent/class teacher. With this in mind, please do not send your child to school with any bags on this day, other than one with their nativity costume.
 
Friday 20^th December
School closes for Christmas break at 2pm.
