Yellow weather warning for snow

08 Mar 2023

Yellow Weather Warning for Snow – Thursday 9th and Friday 10th March

As you will be aware, there is a yellow weather warning in place for snow on Thursday and Friday of this week.

Whilst school opening will most probably remain unaffected, we do ask that parents ensure that we have up-to-date contact details and that they check their emails from school regularly over these two days.

Should there have to be any changes to opening times, or should school have to close during the school day, parents will be notified by email. We would be grateful if you could have a contingency plan in place for collecting your children at short notice as many of our school staff have long distances to travel and the weather in their area maybe significantly worse.

Many thanks as always for your support in this.

If the snow does arrive, fingers crossed it’s in the evening when we are all safely home to enjoy this!
