Weekly Spellings - Monday 28th September 2020

The spellings for this week are as follows. The children will be tested on Friday 2nd October

Year 3 and 4:

This week the children are looking at root words with the prefix 'in-' added to them. The prefix 'in-' usually means not and creates an opposite word to the root word (antonym).

Year 5 and 6:

This week the children are looking at some of the most commonly misused words in the English language.  You will need to work hard to practise the pairs of -ce/-cy nouns and -se/-sy verb homophone words.

Remember any words in red are statutory words that you are expected to spell by the end of either Y4 or Y6.
