Celebrating Home Learning

13 May 2020

I thought I would start a page here to celebrate all that we are doing at home. You are all doing such a super job and we are very proud of you.

Harrison has sent some lovely pictures in this week. He has been working with Ted and Kitty to learn about the four home nations. They have made flowers for each country out of playdough and have researched the country writing some great fact files. He also had a lovely afternoon tea on VE day after watching the bag pipes and bugle in the rain!

Matthew has been following his caterpillars on their journey from caterpillar to butterfly. What an amazing way to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly.

He has also been growing a crystal tree.

Amy and Mark sent in these pictures of the vegetables that they have been growing - potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, cucamelons, peas, lettuce, spring onions and rocket.

They also sent in a picture of frog that they have found and their hen who unfortunately got stuck in a bush!
