Children in Need Bring and Buy Sale

On Friday, the school came together to support Children in Need by holding a Bring and Buy sale. The School Council planned and organised the sale by encouraging everyone to have a clear out and bring in gently used items they no longer wanted and then buying something different! The children were also allowed to come to school dressed in yellow or spots for a small donation. As usual, the children and parents dug deep and we had plenty of items to sell. The School Council were magnificent. They sorted the items by categories and each member was in charge of a stall. A special thank you to Amy who donated a beautiful teddy bear and organised a 'Guess the Name of the Bear' challenge which just by itself made £10. The lucky winner was Matthew.
Many thanks also go to Mrs McNamara, Ms Skinner and Ms Goddard who helped get everything ready.
Thank you to everybody in school who supported this special cause.
The total amount raised will be announced next week.
