COVID Reporting

Mrs Umpleby - 09 Dec 2020

As the school holiday approaches, the DFE have released information regarding COVID procedures during the Christmas period which schools have been asked to share with parents.

COVID reporting over the Christmas holiday period:

Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for COVID-19, having developed symptoms within 48hours of being in school, the school should be contacted at the earliest opportunity via the admin email address, as well as following the NHS Test and Trace instructions.

This will allow school to risk assess which pupils and staff may be required to self-isolate by following PHE guidance.

Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace
