We had a really great day celebrating Chinese New Year with our friends from Kirkby. We took part in a lot of exciting activities including; chinese cooking, strory telling, collage and creative crafts and we mad a lucky Chinese New Year wallet. The children worked in mixed groups to enable them to make new friends and share skills and ideas. We had a picnic style lunch in the school hall and then it was time for a Chinese New Year story and food tasting. We arrived back in school in time for celbration assembly.
