Assessment and Results

Mrs Umpleby - 29 Apr 2020

Children are continually assessed and monitored throughout the school year. By doing this our teachers can constantly review the children's level of development and set targets for the children to work towards.

At the end of KS1 and KS2 a more formal assessment takes place in school. Children are given Standard Assessment Tasks (SATS) and are also assessed by their teachers. These together show the level that the child has attained in the National Curriculum subjects of Maths and English. Children in Year 1 take a phonics assessment.
