Week Commencing 23rd March 2020

Miss Asker - 24 Mar 2020

Good Morning,

I hope that you had a great day yesterday preparing yourself for your home learning.

You will find below an article with a link to the Closure Timetable. I have put some MyMaths tasks on for you to work through this week. Remember to do the lesson first.

Yesterday afternoon would have been your music lesson with Mrs Harris. Why not tune into You Tube and head to Mylene's Music Klass. She will be providing music lessons for the nation whilst you're not at school. Have a go at yesterday's lesson 'Play Your Name'.

The children who have needed to come to school this week have been busy creating a 'rainbow window' to spread some colour and cheer up our neighbours.  Maybe you could do the same at home.  We painted, printed, used collage and even wove rainbows!

Don't forget if you have any questions, or want to share your home learning with us Mrs Hatch and I will be available from 9am-10am at our new class email page -

I hope you had a lovely day yesterday. I was so proud to see that some of  you had logged onto MyMaths and some had even managed to complete all of your tasks in one day! What an amazing start to your home learning. Please make sure you do the lesson first before you complete the MyMaths homework - you will need to click on the 'Try the Lesson' tab, complete that, and then click on the 'Start the Homework' tab. It is really important that you do this so that you get some of the teaching top tips you would get in school.

Did you manage to do the Joe Wicks workout? I am still aching from Monday's!

Below I have put some links to a couple of nrich maths tasks. Why not have a go at these during your problem solving time. Just click on your year group below it SHOULD take you to the challenge! Year 5/6 can also have a go at the Year 4 challenge to warm up if you want.

I wonder how you are getting on with your project work? Try to fit some of this in on  an afternoon.

Mrs Hatch and I would love it if you emailed some of your home learning in to us. If your parents are happy (please let us know in the email) we can load some of your pictures up on to the class page to share your learning with your friends.

Have a good day.

Miss Asker
