Miss Mandelson and Mrs Clegg - 07 Jun 2020

Back to School
This week some children will be coming back to school.  They will follow a similar plan to those published here for home-learning:
Good morning, Tigers!  We hope you had a lovely weekend even though the weather has not been as kind to us.  I don't think you will have had your padding pools out this weekend but maybe you have been out and about splashing in puddles in your wellies?

The government have said that a small number of children can begin to come back to school now.  Many children will continue to learn at home and that is ok too. Today, some Tigers will be returning to school.  I wonder how they will be feeling?  Excited?  A bit nervous?  I am really looking forward to seeing some of you and being back in the classroom.  Over the weekend I sent a little video to the children who are returning to school so they could see what the classroom is looking like.  Here is a photo so the children who are at home can see too:
It looks a little bit different, doesn't it?  We have removed a lot of the furniture and resources so that there is space to spread out.  Don't worry - we have put everything away safely and we shall be able to get it all out again when the time is right.  Today we shall be learning a new song to help us to wash our hands - it will make a nice change from singing 'Happy Birthday' to Mr Nobody!  Perhaps the Tigers at home would like to learn it too.
