Miss Mandelson and Mrs Clegg - 10 May 2020

We are almost half way through another week, Tigers.  How are you feeling on this wonderful Wednesday?  We have really enjoyed catching up with many of you on the phone this week and receiving your emails and photos. If you have not yet had your phone call, don't worry - one of the Tiger teachers will be ringing you before the end of the week.  Yesterday it was National Nurses Day which falls on the birthday of a well-known British person from history.  Here is a picture of her:

I wonder if you can find out her name and why she became so famous.  Let us know how you get on.  Maybe when we come back to school we can learn all about her.
Here is a person you will definitely recognise!  Yes, it is...
...Reverend Cleeves!  But who are his friends?  Do you remember their names?  Click on the picture of Reverend Cleeves and he will be ready to tell you a special story for Collective Worship today.

Madeleine has sent us some more lovely Forest School activities.  Today there is an art focus:

Don't forget to ask your grown up to share your art with Madeleine on her instagram page (details on the task sheet)!

Good morning Tigers!  Hope you are well and are taking the opportunity to do much more exercise outside now.  Maybe you have even met up with a family member outside somewhere?
I wonder if any of you have been listening to Mrs Taylor read a story?  If you haven't so far then you can catch up by clicking on 'News and Events' on the homepage of the website, and then 'Headteacher Updates.'
Some more of you might be getting a phone call today from myself, Miss Mandelson, Mrs Cornforth or Mrs Millions.  We've really enjoyed talking to some of you already and are looking forward to hearing what the rest of you have been up to.  Speak to you soon!

Hello Tigers!  It's Friday, your last day of home learning before the weekend!  Has anybody got anything exciting planned?  If you have, send us an email and let us know!
We have all been spending a lot of time using our computers recently and accessing the internet, so Miss Asker (our ICT lead) thought it might be a good idea to remind us all about how to stay safe online.  I know Tigers know a lot about this already from our E-Safety lessons last half term, but please take the time to look at this document with your grown ups:

Once you have reminded yourself about how to use the internet safely, you might fancy having breakfast with a one-horned rhino!  Or maybe brunch with a mountain chicken frog?  Don't worry, I haven't gone mad, but today Chester Zoo wants you to visit without even leaving your house!  From 10am you can enjoy a virtual zoo day- this sounds amazing!  Click here for more information:

Let me know if you visited!  Have a good weekend and stay safe!smiley
