Hello Tigers

We hope you have had a great weekend.  Many thanks for keeping in touch with us - we love to hear what you have been getting up to.  How are your beans getting on?  Kitty and Ted have planted theirs and look how well they are coming along in the greenhouse...

Happy Monday, everyone!  Welcome to Week 2 of home learning.  You can find your daily timetable by clicking on the 'Home Learning' tab to the left.  In addition to this, we shall continue to post some new ideas here on the website each day.
If you haven't yet had the chance to explore the White Rose Maths resource, we would recommend that you have a look at it each day this week.  The Y2 lessons focus on fractions which is what we would have been covering if we were all still at school.  Click on the image below:

Mrs Harris says hello to you all.  She has sent some lovely ideas for your Monday Music lesson.  Why not try her Music Bingo activity:
Reverend Siân is sad not to be able to come into school to see you all for Collective Worship but if you click on her picture, she has still got a story for you:

Don’t forget that we are here to help every morning between 9:00 - 10:00am.  Just email us at We shall stay online a little longer just in case you need a little rest after PE with Joe!

Good morning, Tigers!  How are you today?  We hope that you are all enjoying your last week of the Spring Term.  Soon it will be time for the Easter holidays and today we would have been heading down to church for our school Easter Service.  With this in mind, we have started an 'Easter Activities' page which we shall add to over the coming days.  Just click on the Homework tab above.  You will also see a page for our 'Castles Project' here as well as a page full of super Science ideas which Mrs Hatch has started for you.

Today we wanted to particularly help Red group with their learning.  Here is a phrase for your Read it, Write it, Draw it book...

We wonder if you have watched any of the Numberblocks programmes yet?  There is a good episode which is all about Numberblock Castle.  Click on the picture below to watch it:

...or you can find it on the BBC iPlayer or YouTube.  If a grown-up would like to help you with your learning using Numberblocks there is lots of useful information on the NCTEM website including a powerpoint for this episode.  Just click here and scroll to the bottom:

Let us know how you get on.  And don't forget to keep sending those castle pictures - we are really enjoying seeing all your creations!

Welcome to wonderful Wednesday, Tigers!  What are you up to today? Maybe the children in Red and Green groups could start with a sentence in their Sensational Sentences book?  Here is a picture to stick in or draw...
